truly enjoyed the double room with bathroom, and great location on the hill. location: the hotel was so close to the bus stop to the national park, supermarkets and the lake, and the centre of puerto varas.

The location is great, just a short walk to the bus terminal and city center. the staff is exceptionally kind and friendly. the room is airy with a newly renovated bathroom.

I recently stayed at Hostal Compass Del Sur for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The staff, especially Mauro and his wife, were incredibly attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with our travel plans. The location was perfect, allowing for easy walks to explore the city while also providing a peaceful atmosphere with the sound of nearby birds. The breakfast was delicious, with individual servings of bread, jam, cheese, and ham. The staff spoke multiple languages, making communication seamless. it was the best option for a relaxing stay in Puerto Varas.

The house has lots of character with beautiful wooden floors and high ceilings. A good option to stay if you want to take a refreshing swim in crystal clear waters. The dining room provides a relaxing atmosphere with an internet corner.

our stay at the hostel was amazing. big common area, friendly staff, clean rooms, and great recommendations for things to do in the area. the location was perfect, close to downtown and supermarkets. the positive vibe of the wooden house made our stay even better. would definitely go back!

Noisy room and stairs.

Convenient location 🌟 - This place is quite clean and offers good value for the money. It's located right by the bus stop and the town center, which makes it super convenient. The rooms have shared bathrooms, but overall it's a great spot in a marvelous location.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help and provide recommendations for exploring the region. The common areas were well-maintained and spacious, with a cozy fireplace in the living room. The location was perfect, allowing for easy and comfortable walking to all parts of the city.

It was a bit difficult to check in outside of the designated check-in time, which was a bit inconvenient for early arrivals. it would have been great if the dorm rooms provided locks or offered the option to rent locks for the room lockers, providing extra security for belongings.

The Hostal Compass Del Sur provided the perfect base for exploring the stunning Volcano Osorno and the surrounding rainforest. The ski center offered breathtaking views of the 3rd largest lake in South America, the Llanquihue Lake. We also enjoyed short trails that allowed us to discover new types of trees and native plants. The clean and transparent water of the lake was an inviting option for swimming. The 24-hour front desk was incredibly helpful in arranging tours and activities, making our stay even more enjoyable.

My children wished there were more activities specifically tailored to families.
